About Us

Introduction

Cyber Swachhta Mission is a part of the Chandigarh Police’s Community Outreach Initiative, under Digital India carried out in collaboration with academic institutions and CSR initiatives of Industry and financial institutions for the successful carrying out of the internship. The aim is to inculcate cyber hygiene among citizens. With a creative collaboration of academia Chandigarh Police as Cyber Volunteers.

The internship aims to have youth engagement as they are active users of the Internet and cyber harassment among youth is an extremely common and crucial subject. These interactions with youth give the police administration an opportunity to communicate and work together with society as a whole and further inflict a progressive change for secure cyberspace.

Objective

Engagement of youth in positive thinking, creative use of cyberspace, nation-building, and national security.
Promote cyber literacy, cyber hygiene, and cyber security awareness.
Providing insights into varied dimensions of social media.
Creating a Cyber ecosystem and positive and robust cyberspace.
Collection of information/facts from open sources to produce actionable intelligence.
Cyber Patrolling to detect & prevent cybercrime.
Development of cyber solutions/applications.
Provide the youth involved in the internship as cyber interns with sufficient knowledge of cyber security and promote
them to engage actively as cyber ambassadors.
